Dex's history was unknown. She showed up, seemingly out of the blue, with advanced medical knowledge and a stoic dedication to the field. She was accepted to study tentatively, but when the great war broke out her studies became work and duties as she took on patients and helped care for the wounded. She stood out quickly as a highly skilled worker, well versed in physiology and chemistry, and skilled with her paws. When the war ended, she was left with the clinic as the others returned to their past jobs, where she remained to work as a doctor.

A few years later, she was introduced to a strange patient. A large, horned brute with many eyes and a timid personality. She helped him as best as she could, but couldn't help but feel a strange attachment to him, one which she immediately did her best to smother. Still, it didn't help that the male seemed to share the feeling and requested her to stay by him, for fear that his problem would awaken and he'd do something terrible. She agreed, convincing herself that it was for his sake alone. As time went on their relationship grew a little more clear, to the disgust of Dean, a male who had been courting the high-ranking female in hopes of using her reputation to lift himself higher up in the world. What ensued would tear her away from all she knew, dig up a long buried past, and leave her uprooted in a foreign land, where the residents aren't too keen on her presence.

Through perseverance, dedication,and trust she managed to pull through, letting those aged walls shatter as she gave in to her heart and fell in love with the male. After a close call with Dean, the end of their misery came, and a new life started for the pair.
