Cadaver - #358 - Patooi.jpg
Design by patooi

Dubbed as The Bone Weaver, Cadaver is the herbal and spiritual healer of Runestone Island. Typically adorned in bones, various herbs, and cords of frayed woven grasses, she is quite the sight to behold, and usually smells or smoke and mint. Cadaver's eerie appearance and name is only emphasized by her home, a cramped, dark den dug out into the side of a hill, the muddy walls typically alive with insects and low-light plants, decorated with the skulls and bones of various animals, most of which bear painted runes and symbols. Despite these often disturbing details, Cadaver is startlingly light hearted and kind spirited. She rejects no patient, friend or foe, and is often a little over eager to treat someone of their ailment, having been known to drag a sick tribe member to her home if they refuse to go on their own accord.

Cadaver is very in tune with the spirits and forces of nature which reside on Runestone Island. She considers them as family, and makes it clear that her allegiance is to the spirits. Her nature can flip on a dime when faced with those who wish to harm or use the spirits, and she has no tolerance for such thoughts or behaviors.

Overall, Cadaver is a bit of a chaotic, unpredictable character to the members of Runestone Island. She’s beloved by most of the residents, despite her unorthodox demeanor, and she treats them kindly, often offering a few jokes to an injured patient, whether they asked for them or not. Cadaver adores her job and the life it comes with, and she secretly adores the initially startled and concerned stares she receives when first encountered. She knows she’s more than a little weird, but she doesn’t much care.
