Akuro grew up on a world hidden from others, one of constant and suffocating cold, called Cryspeth. Here, he lived happily with his pack and grew strong. However, when disaster happened and those he loved were killed, he was driven to a quest of vengeance. He sought out the monster which stole their lives and committed the same act upon it. On that day, something odd happened.

Akuro has two primary powers: power over an odd flame named Aaroyva, and the power over portals. 

 - Aaroyva does not burn. It is a toxic material that, once it strikes the skin, is absorbed and moves to the nervous system, steadily shutting it all down.

 - Akuro's portals are always triangular and make an odd humming noise when opened.

From the discovery of his portals, Akuro's life went spiraling down an odd path. A group called the "counsel" located and recruited him to fight monsters across the galaxy with strict rules. However, when he broke a rule and his punishment was delivered to one he loved, rage fueled him. He hid himself from the counsel and, in doing so, found Kei Nairi.

Akuro lived in solitary silence for many years, wishing to simply be left alone but nevertheless finding himself entangled in various endeavors. He was pulled from his solitude by the great war, and painfully found his heart tumbling into an abyss of love as he met the tormented Phoenix. They shared many things in common, and seemed to balance out each other too perfectly. Though he resisted and wished it wasn't so, he fell in love with her and eventually caved into the feeling, becoming mates with the fiery female.

Akuro is cursed with immortally, and he is aware that he will one day outlive Phoenix and all of his children. Try as he might to ban himself from any worldly attachment, his heart is too weak to do so, and so he entangles himself into a deeper and deeper snare of heartache every day.
