Allaster's story actually began as a human, living on Earth.
​
He was a soldier named Allan, one new to the battle field with a canine named Max called to his side. On the field, however, a grenade was thrown that the others did not notice. Having a duty to protect his squad, Allan threw himself over the weapon and ordered his dog back. Max, however, approached him at the wrong moment.
​
Death was not the end for these two, however. Ugin (owned by james. cs) brought their souls to her and gave them new life, transforming them.
​
Allaster now lives as a guardian of Kei Nairi, his dog Max - transformed into a hound of burning cinder - fighting by his side.
​
For years he was alone, but with time more guardians arose and stood beside him, creating a powerful team.
Perhaps the greatest heart ache Allan suffered when he died was leaving his loving wife behind. It was something which clung to him in his new life, haunting him and keeping his heart in a state of mourning. However, Ugin was not blind. In time, Allaster met a lovely viscet named Alessandre, who soon revealed herself to be his wife, transformed by Ugin as well to bring them together.

Allaster balances the reality of battle and the dangers he and the guardians face with his family, turning to his mate often for guidance and advise in times of confusion.
